The AgNi alloy wire product material is silver nickel. Compared to Ag or FAg, AgNi materials have higher arc corrosion resistance and contact soldering properties. The performance is improved while increasing the Ni content. All AgNi materials exhibit good processability and are easily soldered to contact supports. A propensive low AgNi material for material transfer in DC applications is an environmentally friendly material.
AgNi contact materials are used in a wide range of low voltage switching devices. They are used in power relays, small contactors, light switches, temperature controllers, etc., as well as protection switches (in the latter case they are used for asymmetric contact pairs, for example for AgC or AgZnO materials).
