Precautions when using rivets for rivet contact
1. The thickness of the riveting is generally not more than 5 times the diameter of the rivet.
2. The bearing capacity of the punching riveting is reduced by about 20% compared to the bearing capacity of the riveting.
3. The number of rivets parallel to the load direction should not exceed 6 at most, but should not be less than 2. The diameter of the rivets in the same structure should be as uniform as possible, and no more than two.
4. When the beam uses multiple rows of rivets, try to make the rivets staggered to improve the strength factor of the riveting.
5. The allowable stress of the rivets made at the construction site should be appropriately reduced.
6. When the multi-layer board is riveted, the interface of each layer board needs to be staggered.
7. When the thickness is more than 4mm, the edge is thickened; if the thickness is less than 4mm, and the tightness is required, the linen coated with lead can be placed between the steel plates to obtain tightness.
